The team of Entra Agentura takes great pleasure to welcome you to a young and dynamic recruiting agency in Baltic States. We are a fully registered company working under the relevant laws of the country.

Our offices are located in the center of Riga - the capital Latvia. Riga has historical ties with shipping and Riga was home to a large diversified fleet of mainly Oil/Gas and Chemical Tankers. Today Riga is still a center point of recruitment for seafarers residing not only in Latvia but also in neighboring Baltic States, in Byelorussia, Kaliningrad and even the Ukraine. As a result of this development we have accumulated a considerable roster of qualified and experienced Officers and ratings with proven service-records onboard foreign flag vessels with multinational crew complements.

All Officers and ratings are certified in accordance with STCW95 amendments and pass an English language test. Well established training facilities are available in the country and the Latvian maritime academy has annual attendance of 300 future nautical and technical officers plus a considerable number of distant students. Only one out of every six student applicants are accepted by the academy. The national nautical college complements the academy education and certifies successful candidates after a three year course.

Latvian citizens are able to travel to most countries without visa restrictions and in addition most common flag states maintain consular representation in the country ready to process necessary documentation without delay. Frequent international airline connections are available with efficient PTA facilities and in addition cost effective bus transfers are on hand to nearby western European ports for larger crewmembers. Most economic flights can be book directly through us to Far Eastern destination with Russian airlines.
