We are looking for a talented candidate for the following position:
Marine Operations Manager (Based in Jakarta)
Job Description:
The role reports to the Fleet Manager in Jakarta and is responsible to operate vessels safely to exceed customer satisfaction and contractual requirements in a cost effective manner for all fleet in our Indonesia business unit. The responsibilities include:
• Ensure proper implementation of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) throughout the fleet in Indonesia and monitor all managed vessel’s operation activities.
• Actively involved in the vessel’s audit, OVID, IMCA, MWS etc
• Assist the Fleet manager to developing relationship and communicating with customer to achieve customer satisfaction
• Ensure adequate resources are available to implement and execute Safety and Quality Management System
• Develop manuals onboard relating to the vessel’s operation
• Ensure that all vessels comply with statutory and classification society requirements including the client/charterer requirement
• Ensure that all vessels have complete and valid certification / documents and they are available at all relevant locations
• Responsible to identify applicable guidelines, codes, regulations and standards required. Ensure that all procedures and tasks carried out have complied with all relevant regulations.
• Coordinate all actions to be taken in an emergency situation onboard the vessel
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering/ Marine Engineering or other related field of studies with Class 1 preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the offshore marine industry
• Prior managerial experience with more than 5 years of experience with DP2 and seismic vessel is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong agility in managing tight deadlines
• Willing to be based in Jakarta
