Excite Recruitment are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to join a 4* Cruise Liner in the sun. If you have exceptional knowledge and a genuine love of wine then this is the job for you!
We are looking for a high quality Sommelier for a great Cruise line company – Applicants must have a bubbly, outgoing personality combined with a flair and passion for the product. You must be confident in delivering wine talks as well as presenting and selling new concepts, via seminars, to the passengers and generating enthusiasm about wine, in order to maximise revenue on board. • Role : Sommelier
• Start Date: ASAP
• Berthing: Shared cabin with one other
• Contract: 6 months on and 2 months off not paid in vacation time
• Must have: Sommelier certification, leadership experience of a team; a very strong world wine knowledge back ground, plus revenue generation skills
• Leading: A team of circa 10 onboard
• Salary: Base wage of $500USD tax free plus gratuities approaching but not guaranteed to $3200USD – min wage guarantee is $1,377USD tax free
