Open position: Commercial Manager

In our office in Shanghai we have an open position as Commercial Manager with opportunity to grow the business in close cooperation with head office, brokers and other branch offices. We are looking for a candidate with minimum 5 years of experience in chartering and operations.
Main responsibilities
Plan and coordinate commercial activity with head office, brokers, operators and customers
Carry out freight negotiations and cargo bookings
Maintain and develop business
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Personal qualifications
Relevant higher education, preferably within shipping, logistics and/or economics.
Experience from chartering, and preferably from dry bulk/project cargoes.
Good analytical and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and ability to work independently
Ability to see new possibilities and act within short deadlines
Good planning skills and like being accurate
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English, both written and oral
