By law these vessels need to be manned by Dutch officers, as much as possible. However due to the recent fast growth of the Dutch fleet there is a shortage of Dutch officers and an increasing demand for officers of different nationality.
Your certificates that are or will be (up to finishing your education) issued by your government should be in full compliance with the STCW-95 convention. The country where your certificates will be issued should be on the so called IMO-white list (www.imo.org).
