Vacancy Captain (D.P.O)

As Captain you are responsible for the entire operation of the ship and her crew, as well as maneuvering and navigating the ship. You supervise the crew and work in close cooperation with the superintendent. Travel and project preparation are also your responsibility.

Abis Shipping ships sail all round Europe and North Africa. The sailing / leave schedule is confirmed after deliberation.

Job requirements

· A Certificate of Competency “Master all ships” and a valid medical certificate.
· A full DP certificate is an advantage.
· Leadership capacities.
· Independent and stress resistant.
· Experience in the project cargo sector has preference.
· Good communicative and administrative skills.
· Some ICT knowledge is an advantage.
· A good knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of German is
an advantage.
