Job description
We are searching for experienced DP operators with a great interest to expand their careers.
Our clients are searching for enthusiastic, pro-active colleagues to help them create and sustain a safe environment. You got a great passion for the Offshore, Green-Engineering and you are willing to work in a rotation. The main proceedings will be with Wind Turbines and the maintenance of it. Experience on one of the following ships is required:
Cable Layers
Pipe Layers
Semi-Submersibles
Fall-Pipe vessels
Rock Dumping vessels
Jack Up´s
Dredgers
You will be working in a 12 hours shift for the day to day operations and transferring the ships progress to your relieve. Communicating and delegating to your supervisor and colleagues is one of the main priorities to keep the project organized. You are familiar with the most used DP systems such as Kongsberg and Converteam. You will set-up monitors and correct the ships position and you are responsible for daily navigational tasks. Preparations and / or submission of Log Books, daily records, maintenance records, checklists and permits as laid down by various authorities having jurisdiction on the different continental shelves and in accordance with the companies policies and associated documents. Project areas will be all around the world, in other words you won´t get bored and will see different cultures from the project related countries and your colleagues.

Our client
Oceanwide Vlissingen recruits and employs Dutch- and international seafarers and offshore construction crew to ship-owners in the Netherlands and Europe. The office is DNV - CMO and MLC 2006 certified.
Contracts are possible for a couple of weeks, fixed term agreements or permanent employment. Contract and payroll are depending on nationality, flag of the vessel and work location. Also interesting career development programs are offered!
The clients of the office in Vlissingen are well established ship operating companies active in merchant shipping, dredging, towage and offshore support markets. Therefore a variety of vessel types can be offered, going from general cargo vessels and tankers to offshore construction vessels and dredgers.
