We have the honour to introduce our company as providing seafarers with different employment services on the vessels of foreign shipowners.

"Ukrainian Maritime Agency" entered the international seamen's employment market in 1996, setting up its office in the centre of marine labour activity in Ukraine - Odessa.

Our company has already established good relations with American, German, English, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian and Lebanese shipowners.

UMA is entirely licensed by Ukrainian Government for manning activities - license AB ? 220079, issued by the Ministry of Labour of Ukraine on 28th October 2005.

UMA Ltd. came under close scrutiny by Russian Register in 30th of April 2004 when the company successfully passed the audit of its Safety and Quality Management System.

Having wide relations and big opportunities in the sphere of search, choice and organization of seamen employment on the territory of Ukraine and database including 8 000 representatives of officers and ratings, having high potential and desire to work productively, effectively, to use our abilities at full range, we are keen to expand, to make good cooperation with reliable company, in mutual effort to gain success and prosperity.

Our seafarers are entirely certified in accordance with the international rules and codes such as STCW, IMO, and ISPS, with extensive work experience in Ukrainian and multinational crews. We make thorough and qualitative selection of seamen taking into consideration specific requirements of shipowners.

The rights of our seafarers are protected by the Marine Transport Workers’ Trade Union of Ukraine.

The personnel of our company are highly qualified and competent and make every effort to achieve success in all directions of our business activity. As it was mentioned, having such a wide database, we have an opportunity to provide crew for different types of vessels and also for permanent crews and repairing teams.

Our company has made different contracts with the leading maritime educational establishments (academies, colleges, etc.) that enable to provide shipping companies with both cadets and experienced specialists. We are sure that we manage any task, accommodate with competent, highly qualified labor force, establish good professional relationships and finally, redound to prosperity to the shipowner's company.
