COS - CREW MANAGEMENT s.r.o.(CCM) is a recruitment agency founded in 1995 as a subsidiary of Czech maritime navigation, a.s. - the single merchant ship owner in the Czech Republic.

In the year 2000 CCM has been taken over by a new owner. It became a member of a young, private and fully independent Czechoslovak Ocean Shipping Group, established in 1999 and engaged primarily in maritime transport activities. Experienced CCM staff has been saved during these changes and in the new group continues activities in the employment of seafarers on international maritime market.
CCM is a licensee of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for commercial mediation of employment abroad and our activity is strictly governed by international regulations and conventions. We specialized in crew management, recruitment of experienced professional seafarers and arrangement of their employmen by ship owners. The agency provides courses for obtaining the required qualifications, according to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers STCW 1978/95 as amended.
We also take a care about medical examinations prior to embarkation, handling employment agreements (contracts) between seafarer and ship owner, long-term crew planning. We organise travel arrangements for crews for safety joining of the vessel and their repatriation after the expiry of the contract. We monitor and assist in upgrading of qualifications and training of crews. We supervise and secure the payments of wages of seafarers by ship owners, solve insurance cases and perform bookkeeping and cost analysis for ship owners according to their requirements.
