DD Shipping operates 11 ocean-going vessels with a total DWT of about 320,000 tons. The company focuses on reinvestment of its profits in further fleet expansion. In 2008 the Company successfully completed its first shipbuilding project and acquired 5 new bulk carriers of 26500 tons DWT each constructed at Sungdong Shipyard, South Korea. Since the delivery DD Vanguard, DD Vigilant, DD Voyager, DD Vogue and DD Victory have been performing well in meeting Company's expectations.

In 2008 DD Shipping Group was awarded with the Approved International Shipping Enterprise (AIS) Status. With the above award, DD Shipping Group obtained tax exemption for income from qualifying shipping operations, as well as an excellent maritime infrastructure.
