Our combined Team has more than 200 years of experience in technical and nautical management. Due to our exceptionally high quality standards we have passed very stringent Audits by Exxon Mobil and Shell.

In our company history we have never had a major insurance claim, neither P & I nor H & M.
Despite the difficult market situation, DS Tankers has fullfilled their obligation 100 % and the managed vessels had no "off hire" time.
Our operational costs (OPEX) are significantly lower than the market average (based on Moore Stephens, OpCosts 2013, benchmarking vessel running costs).

Crewing Services

Because the selection of the Crew is extremely important, we only trust our own agencies. DS Crewing Services (Hamburg, Germany) and DS Scanmar (Manila, Philippines) ensure that we have permanent and reliable crews with experienced seafarers.

All crew members go through a very strict selection process before they are allowed to work for DS Tankers. We ensure our crews are highly qualified through continuous training.
