Gulf Marine Services (GMS)

Gulf Marine Services (GMS) was founded in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 1977 and has become the largest provider of self-propelled, self-elevating accommodation jackup barges not just in the Middle East, but also worldwide. These assets provide the stable platform for delivery of a wide range of services throughout the total lifecycle of offshore oil, gas and renewable energy activities, being capable of operations the Middle East, South East Asia, West Africa and Europe.

The company constructs and maintains its vessels at its yard in Abu Dhabi and has an extensive new build and replacement programme, including the construction of the harsh weather environment Gusto NG2500X DPII ESVs. As a result, the GMS fleet is the youngest and most sophisticated in the industry, which it operates from its offices in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

GMS also operates two anchor handling tug supply vessels and a floating accommodation barge.
