Our history is closely connected with inland waterway transport and our service is oriented towards container transport. Previously a division of inland waterway transport specialists Haeger & Schmidt, we became an independent Company in 2006. We are based in Duisburg, the largest inland port in Europe.

Shipping services along the Rhine
We specialise in logistics solutions for container transport on the Rhine and have established reliable shipping services for this purpose. We have our own fleet for the waterways, and our own train connections for the rails. The latter allows, for example, the direct connection of the ZARA ports to the Rhine.
Our trimodal terminals – CSA Andernach and ETK Kehl – form important logistics hubs on our infrastructure in this respect.

Sites close to the customer
All along the Rhine, we have built sites at strategic points in order to support customers directly and to keep land routes as short as possible. We also offer experienced administration at the seaports through our partners there. Everything you need for the container and the customer. Everything from a single source.

Container-barging for a greener planet
“Container-barging for a greener planet” is a concept that we have developed in order to transparently calculate our customers’ CO2 reductions as a result of multimodal container transportation via barge and/or train, in direct comparison to transport by lorry. This is particularly relevant for companies who want to evidence reductions in their CO2 emissions. On the freight note, this calculation is reported in standardised form, and can be given as part of our quotation, if required.
