Kinabalu North Shipyard & Maritime Sdn Bhd (KNSM) is a joint venture between Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd (SEC) and Weldan Marketing Sdn Bhd (Weldan) to deliver a first-class marine services facility for the ever expanding maritime industry. With SEC experience in energy and services based industries and Weldan’s expertise in ship repair, the concept of KNSM made into reality. KNSM is ideally and strategically located at Sepangar Bay, Kota Kinabalu and which started operating in January 2016.

Covering about 17 acres of land with a sea front with just short of 1 kilometer, we are able to meet their varying requirements for a multitude of vessels and other marine structure. Our 6000TLC 56m long floating dry dock will make light work of lifting some of the heavier vessels whether it be for a quick survey or a major repair. The yard offer great variety of services from ship repair to berthing facilities, open and closed storage, wharfage and docking options and many more.
