“Saint Petersburg Maritime Company” was established in 1998. Selection and hiring of shipboard personnel for different types of vessels belonging to Russian and foreign vessel-owners was defined as one of the general activities of the company. In November 2006 the company entered Norbulk Group – a large international shipping group. From this moment a new stage of development started in the history of the company. Nowadays the company continues to perform personnel administration on different types of vessels, at the same time improving the quality and increasing the quantity of its services from day to day. Since 2007 a technical department of Norbulk Company was launched on the basis of the company. This department performs technical engineering supervision on vessels belonging to Russian customers. In 2008 an establishment and development of tanker department was initiated, this department is designed for servicing of Norbulk tankers both being under construction and already operational. Near-term outlook plans include the foundation of agent department which would provide services for vessels entering Saint-Petersburg’s port.
