Selective Marine Services is a company registered in British Virgin Island with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai (India), Pau (France), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Singapore, Kuwait and Libya. The company is specialized in the supply of general oilfield related services with an emphasis on the supply of specialized human resources to the oilfield, shipping and fabrication sectors. Over the eight offices, SMS employs around 90 personnel onshore. On drilling rigs, fabrication sites, production platforms and ships, SMS is presently providing some 150 EUR/US/AUS personnel and over 400 Asian workers on a continuous basis. The strength of SMS is its worldwide infrastructure and the sourcing and supply of a variety of nationalities. Besides the supply of human resources, SMS provides project management, maintenance, procurement and equipment supply and commissioning projects.

The Management of SMS has extensive experience in the management of onshore and offshore drilling rigs, fabrication, upgrade and installation/commissioning projects, both in the Persian Gulf and beyond. In particular, we have been actively involved in rig upgrade conversion work and rig management in the Middle Eastern region for a number of major drilling contractors.

'Vision Petro Services' (VPS) is also an owned subsidiary of SMS registered in Dubai which specializes in project procurement. VPS supplies PPE, equipment, spare parts and consumables to major oil field players such as Expro Swire, Halliburton, Pride Int’l, Total, ENI:- Saipem, National Drilling Co., Femco, Stolt Offshore, Great Eastern, KCA Deutag, Schlumberger and many more. We have a dedicated team of experienced purchasers and logistics officers capable of locating spare parts and equipment anywhere in the world. 'VPS' is the exclusive Middle East agent for Gaston Mille (French Safety Shoes), Bolle (French Safety Glasses), Espuna (French Safety Gloves) and many other safety products.
