Tinecomar started with a small portfolio of clients in the late 1990’s and has today grown into one of the most sought after crewing agencies in Romania. Our principals represent some of the largest shipping companies in the European Union and we are proud to say that they have stayed with us over the years because of our superior services and prompt-in-time action. We have remained focused on our core competency – providing crewing and technical personnel for our clients – and our clients know us for the quality of our services because we do what we know best.

Part of the reason why Tinecomar remains a crewing agency of choice with many of the top European shipping groups is because it was started by a seafaring officer with over two decades of sea-going experience. We like to say we do our job well because we understand what it is to be on sea and what challenges a seafarer faces in his job. We are based in a city that has over 22,000 active seafarers, and two highly reputed maritime academies that produce around a thousand seafarers every year.
