Activity of “Ukrainian Maritime Service” is based on requirements of System of Standards (ISO 9001/2015 and MLC 2006) which has been approved by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

Special procedures are set in the Company in accordance with mentioned standards
As a result there is a guarantee that any seafarer employed is physically fit for duties, properly educated, has legal and valid set of documents for intended rank and has enough experience to carry out his duties in safe and accident-free way.
To maintain the reliable source of seafarers, “Ukrainian Maritime Service” established close relations with Training Centers as well as with other local recruiting offices and other professional unions.
Company may arrange interview with candidates via phone, Skype or vibe if our principals request to do so.
No one seafarer is accepted by our company without being properly examined by approved medical center and holding proper Medical Certificate. Such Certificate should be valid for at least of maximum length of contract.
All candidates pretending to be employed on potentially High Risk Vessels are to be examined and hold valid Drug and Alcohol Certificate issued by approved Medical Center. Such procedure may apply to any of candidate as per Owners’ request.
Before signing Employment Agreement, every seafarer is to sign Drug and Alcohol Policy (either provided by Owner of our company).
“Ukrainian Maritime Service” assist in education and certification for seafarers in accordance with STCW requirements.
In case if required, additional training and certification may be arranged.

– appropriate selection and screening of specialists according to Ship owner’s demands;
– head hunting for a specific position;
– testing of English knowledge and conversational skills;
– arranging and booking flight trips to/from vessels;
– arrangement of statutory training courses ensuring STCW compliance;
– arrangement of any additional training on top of STCW requirements (of shipowners demand);
– rendering assistance in obtaining Visas;
We may also provide You with repair teams (Deck and Engine) to serve on board during repair or layup.
