BW LPG is the world’s largest VLGC owner and operator, by number of VLGCs and by LPG carrying capacity. We own and operate a fleet of 41 vessels, comprising owned and chartered-in VLGCs, owned LGCs. Additionally we have six VLGC newbuildings expected to be delivered in 2016. Our fleet of gas carriers operates globally,with a total carrying capacity of over 3.1 million cbm. BW LPG is incorporated in Bermuda and operates out of Singapore.
We are currently focused on on the transportation of LPG for leading international oil companies and national oil companies, as well as trading and utility companies. Our fleet operates on a combination of spot voyages, Contracts of Affreightment (CoAs) and time charters.
BW LPG is associated with BW Group. BW Group is involved in oil and gas transportation, floating gas infrastructure, environmental technologies and deep-water production. BW Group has a combined fleet of 168 vessels which includes refined oil tankers, LNG and LPG carriers, and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units.

Our Fleet
At BW LPG Limited, every vessel that we own or operate is of a high technical standard. We use our experience to furnish new vessels with the most reliable equipment available at the time of building, maintain them continuously and, when required, upgrade them to keep them competitive in the market.
Over the years, BW has applied a consistent life-cycle maintenance philosophy, ensuring a high standard of maintenance throughout a vessel’s lifetime. We believe that the quality of our vessels is one of the main reasons why we have been able to retain global, blue chip companies among our customers and has enabled us to extend the trading life of older vessels.
Our vessels operate on spot voyages, CoAs and short- to medium-term time charter and are managed by BW Fleet Management. The Group’s LPG customers include BP PLC, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, Statoil, Trafigura, Vitol, Petroleo Brasileiro, Indian oil Corporation, BHP, E1, Astomos, Eneos Globe, Glencore International, Sonatrach Petroleum Corporation, and Petredec Services (Asia).
