A Base Engineer is sought to ensure fleet safety, compliance, and readiness. This role involves providing technical support to onboard engineers, overseeing planned maintenance, inspecting vessels, and managing repairs and dry-docking. Key requirements include an HND/B.Eng./B.Sc. in Marine or Mechanical Engineering and over 5 years of experience in marine technical roles, with at least 3 years in vessel maintenance or technical superintendency. Knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and class requirements is essential.
