Planned maintenance system MaintStar is a software that helps ship owners and/or of the crew of a ship to manage maintenance at regular intervals in line with the manufacturer's and class requirements. Failure to service vessels regularly in line with the manufacturer's and class requirements impacts the income situation. After all, a vessel that is not consistently maintained tends to be prone to repairs, and thus may not always be fully operational. MaintStar substantially reduces complex maintenance overhead. Operating hour counters can be logged and due dates computed. Reminder functions which have long been part of the proven BUSS DATA standard, provide an overview of upcoming maintenance. Certification Maint Star is a complete software solution that reliably provides daily surfaces both on shore and on board. The software was comprehensively tested and certified by the vessel classification bodies ClassNK and German Lloyd. The component tree The component tree represents the component hierarchy which is used to display the maintenance intervals for the various components and report maintenance as completed. In addition, MaintStar provides a complete overview of all components and their histories. Manufacturer, type, serial number, date of manufacture and operating hours of the component are stored.
