100 Maersk Line Boxships Going Paperless zoom Danish container shipping company Maersk Line has selected Transas Marine for  ECDIS implementation, and will install Navi-Sailor ECDIS 4000 on  more than 100 of its vessels . According to the agreement signed between Maersk Line and Transas Marine, the existing systems will be upgraded to the latest version of the Transas Navi-Sailor ECDIS Multifunction Display with 2 ECDIS stations plus a back-up installed on each vessel, making all vessels ready for paperless operation. The installations are planned to start in summer of 2015. The order comes right after a contract signed between Transas Marine and Maersk Tankers for the upgrade of 71 vessels and installations on several newbuilds.
