2M Alliance Bolsters North Europe-US Service

zoom Two of the worlds biggest container liners Maersk Line and the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have through their 2M vessel sharing alliance introduced a fourth service between North Europe and the United States starting this April. The fourth service is a part of the 2Ms East-West Network, and it will complement the three existing loops by calling at Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, New York and Savannah. The reshuffling means that the existing three services will remove some of the calls at the ports covered by the new service, and will have the following rotation: ATL1: Antwerp Rotterdam Bremerhaven Norfolk Charleston – Miami Houston (US flag); ATL2: Bremerhaven Felixstowe Antwerp Le Havre New York Baltimore Norfolk, ATL 3: Antwerp – Felixstowe – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Le Havre – Charleston – Freeport – Veracruz – Altamira – New Orleans – Mobile.
