APL Sets Up Atlantic Gulf Express Service APL Singapore-based container shipping company APL plans to launch a new Transatlantic service, Atlantic Gulf Express (AGX), starting from October 2016. The new service will offer coverage across North Europe, South Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. Westbound port rotation will be as follows: Le Havre (France), Antwerp (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Bremerhaven (Germany), Charleston, Savannah,  Miami (US), Veracruz, Altamira (Mexico), Houston, New Orleans (US). Eastbound port rotation will include the ports of Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Le Havre, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Bremenhaven. First sailing of the Westbound service is scheduled for October 2, 2016, from Le Havre, while the first sailing of the AGX Eastbound service will commence on October 23, 2016, from Veracruz.
