Awilco LNG Secures Charter Contract for WilForce

Awilco LNG ASA (Awilco LNG) announced that the 2013 built 156,000 cbm Tri Fuel Diesel Electric powered WilForce has been committed to a three year contract plus a one year option to an oil and gas major.
The contract will commence 25 January 2014 and is expected to contribute with an annualized EBITDA of about MUSD 23.5 per year during the fixed period.
Chief Executive Officer of Awilco LNG, Mr. Jon Skule Storheill, says: “We are very pleased to have fixed WilForce, our 1 st newbuilding, for a period charter with an oil and gas major while still on her  maiden voyage. This fixture is a milestone in terms of bringing Awilco LNG from the construction phase to the operating phase with a client accepting only the highest standard of LNG operations.”
