BC Ferries Suspends Mill-Brentwood Bays Service zoom British Columbias ferry owner and operator BC Ferries said it would suspend its service between Mill Bay and Brentwood Bay. The temporarily suspension is set to last from April 13 to June 10, 2015 while the MV Klitsa undergoes a scheduled major refit. The vessel is scheduled to be drydocked to renew coatings, service main engines and propellers and general cleaning and maintenance. During the suspension of service, transportation between Mill Bay and Brentwood Bay would be switched to available road routes as there will be no replacement vessel available. As part of a mandatory regulatory requirement, the MV Klitsa is removed from service every four years for a major refit and is expected to resume service on Thursday, June 11, 2015, the company said.
