Brittany Ferries Steward Died from Overdose

zoom A Brittany Ferries steward that was found dead on board a cross-Channel ferry last October bound for South Devon died from a cocaine overdose, according to results of an inquiry. The 26-year old Thomas Holt was found face down in his cabin after he failed to report for his shift and, after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts, was pronounced dead by the ferry nurse, writes the Plymouth Herald. The ferry services the route from Roscoff to Plymouth. The coroner confirmed that the death was drug related. Brittany Ferries has not yet replied to emails sent by World Maritime News seeking comment.
