Bulk Carrier Collides with Fishing Boat off Fujian

The fishing boat, carrying eight crew members, sank killing one of the crew.
Three people have been rescued while the remaining four are still being searched for by the local rescue agencies.
The 2013-built bulkers last known port was Cai Mep its destination being Xiamen, on the southeast coast of the Peoples Republic of China.
According to the latest marine traffic data, the vessel is currently anchored around 5 nautical miles from Siming District.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
