Capital Ship Management Adds Two Ships

Capital Ship Management Greece-based Capital Ship Management Corp. has taken deliveries of a crude oil/product tanker newbuilding and a 2011-built bulk carrier. M/T Aristoklis, a 112,800 dwt Ice Class 1C tanker, was handed over to the company from South Korean Daehan Shipbuilding on January 25, 2017. The Aframax tanker is the second of two sister ships delivered in January 2017. Market value of the 60,751 gross ton Aristoklis currently stands at USD 36.06 million, according to information provided by VesselsValue. Furthermore, the firm took delivery of M/V Amigo II, a 179.016 dwt bulk carrier, on January 26, 2017. VesselsValues data shows that Capital Ship Management purchased Amigo II from South Koreas SK Shipping for USD 21.25 million on November 16, 2016. Previously known as K Endeavor, the Capesize bulker was built by Sundong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea in 2011. The bulk carrier is the second of three sister ships scheduled for delivery in January 2017, according to the company. Capital Ship Management currently operates a fleet of 56 vessels with a total tonnage of around 5.88 million tons.
