COSCO COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group, has delivered a dry bulk newbuilding Agios Makarios to a European owner. According to data provided by VesselsValue, the 79,500 dwt bulker was handed over to the Greece-based Golden Union. The vessel, which has a market value of USD 21.9 million, features a length of 229 meters and a width of 32.26 meters. With a capacity of 97,000 m3, the ship will become a part of Golden Unions fleet of 40 bulk carriers. VesselsValue data shows that the shipping firm has 7 more bulkers under construction, all of which are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2017.
