Cosco to Build Livestock Carrier Singapore-based Cosco Group has through its subsidiary Cosco (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd., secured a contract to build one 4500 square meter livestock carrier for an unnamed European client. The contract is valued at approximately USD 30 million. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2016. Additionally, the shipowner has an option to contract Cosco to construct a vessel of similar characteristics within 6 months.
