Crystal Cruises Blazes Trail for Arctic Expeditions
Aboard the ship, a 14-member professional expedition team will be at passengers disposal while travelling the waterways of Northwest Passage, around Alaska and into the Beaufort Sea, through the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and on to Greenland.
Intentionally designed to be flexible, the Captain and his expanded team of navigation experts will incorporate unplanned “expedition days” when favorable weather conditions allow.

The expeditions will offer rare wildlife sightings of polar bears, narwhals, musk oxen and Caribou, as well as kayaking in protected bays and trekking the tundra with a professional guide.
Crystal Serenity will be accompanied by an escort vessel carrying “adventure equipment” including a platform for wilderness landings, a helicopter and more.
The Ports-of-Call will include: Kodiak, Dutch Harbor, and Nome*, Alaska; Ulukhaktok*, NW Territories; Cambridge Bay* and Pond Inlet, Nunavut; Ilulissat*, Sisimiut*, and Nuuk, Greenland; Bar Harbor, Maine; Boston, Massachusetts; Newport, Rhode Island, and New York, New York. (*=maiden call)
