CSLs Atlantic Erie Aground off Quebec zoom Self-discharging bulk carrier Atlantic Erie, owned by Canada Steamship Lines (CSL), ran aground on Sunday afternoon, January 11th off the Magdalen Islands, Quebec. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) said on Monday it was deploying a team of investigators to the area to investigate the grounding. The vessel was en route to Magdalen Islands from Saint Jean Port, according to Marine Traffic data. The 38,960 DWT bulker, built in 1985, is reported to be loaded with salt.
