Damen to Announce New Offshore Wind Vessel

At the Offshore WIND Installation & Maintenance conference on Wednesday, Peter Robert, Business Development Manager at Damen Shipyards Group, whetted the appetite of the delegates for more information about a new offshore wind vessel able to provide in field accommodation and work space for engineers working on all phases of a wind farm project.
More details of the vessel, designed with amidships accommodation, heave compensated gangway and a crane, will be known at the vessel project launching which is planned for the EWEA OFFSHORE 2013 event being held in Frankfurt in November.
