Diana Finds Work for Its Kamsarmax Bulker

Diana Shipping Inc. Diana Shipping Inc., a Greek owner and operator of dry bulkers, entered into a time charter contract with RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, a German company specialized in energy trading, for one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Myrsini.  The time charter is scheduled to commence on March 8, 2016. The gross charter rate for the bulk carrier built in 2010 is USD 5,550 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum 12 months to about 15 months. The anticipated gross revenue for the minimum period amounts USD 2 million. In addition to the Myrsini, Diana also inked a time charter with RWE Supply & Trading GmbH for another Kamsarmax bulk carrier, the Maia. The 17-month charter commenced on November 13, 2015. Diana is also under time charters with RWE Supply & Trading GmbH for 1 Newcastlemax and 4 Capesize bulk carriers.
