zoom Seven workers were injured in a fire which broke out at a drydock in Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineerings Okpo shipyard this morning, local media reports. The fire reportedly started while the workers were welding inside a hull of an LPG carrier. The injured workers were hospitalized and treated for smoke inhalation. Local firefighters have been fighting the flames for the most of the day, and it is unclear if the fire has been contained. The extent of the damage to the drydock and the newbuilding, reportedly being built for BW Group, has yet to be determined. World Maritime News Staff
