EMGS Extends Charter Contract for Boa Thalassa

The charterer EMGS ASA has today declared the second of the originally 3 x 12 months options as per charter party dated 13.10.2006 for SV Boa Thalassa.
The vessel is therefore on firm contract up to 15th of December 2015, with another 1 x 12 months option remaining.
SV BOA THALASSA, of MT 6007 design, is one of the world’s first custom built vessels for seabed logging operations to detect hydrocarbons beneath the seabed.
The ship’s length overall is 80,35 m with a beam of 16,40m. Deadweight is approx. 3000 tonnes.
