Empros Lines Starts New Europe-Arabian Gulf Service zoom Greek liner and bulk carrier owner and operator Empros Lines has launched a new service connecting Belgiums Port of Antwerp with the Arabian Gulf, the companys agent De Keyser Thornton Group said in a release. The first ship within the new service, the 2013-built, 17,808 dwt general cargo ship SCL Basilisk was loaded at the Port of Antwerp, and set sail towards the Arabian Gulf at the end of June. The main discharging ports within the new service will be the ports of Jeddah, Abu Dhabi , Jebel Ali, Doha, Damman, Kuwait, and Umm Qasr. The main loading ports for the Empros Lines ships will be Antwerp and German ports on inducement basis.
