Fire Slows Down Brazils Itaqui Port

The fire reportedly started at the pulp storage shed of the countrys major cellulose exporter Suzano. Initial information indicates that the terminals grain loading belt system may have been affected by this fire, possibly significantly, according to Skuld. No one has been reported to have been hurt. While it also appears that no vessels were affected directly by this incident, there is likely to be an immediate delay while the damage is assessed and repaired, says Skuld.
