Fosmax LNG Adds Transshipment Service at Fos Cavaou zoom Fosmax LNG has signed a partnership agreement with Teekay Marine Solutions Ltd., formerly SPT Marine Services, which will result in a new transshipment service at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal starting from December 1st, 2015. This new transshipment service will allow for the transfer liquefied natural gas (LNG) with the use of cryogenic hoses, by mooring two vessels in double banking alongside the terminal jetty, Fosmax LNG said. All the boil-off gas (BOG) generated by this operation will be managed by the terminal providing greater operational and environmental efficiencies. The Fos Cavaou LNG terminal, situated on the Cavaou peninsula in Fos-sur-Mer (Bouches-du-Rhône), has been commercially operational since 2010. It is owned by Fosmax LNG and operated by Elengy.
