Gas Leak Near Shells North Sea FPSO zoomCurlew FPSO Oil major Shell has detected a gas leak near its Curlew floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, 130 miles south east of Aberdeen. Shell spokesperson, quoted by Energy Voice, said the leak appeared to have happened at subsea infrastructure several hundred meters from the FPSO vessel late Monday night. According to Shell, all personnel are safe and accounted for. An investigation into the leak has been launched and specialist divers have been called in, BBC informed.
