Globus Maritimes CEO Steps Down Globus The President, Chief Executive and interim Chief Financial Officer and Director of dry bulk shipping company Globus Maritime Limited, Georgios K. Karageorgiou, has resigned from the position for personal reasons effective December 28, 2015, Globus said. Athanasios Feidakis, the company’s current Non Executive Director, was appointed as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer on the same day. Mr. Feidakis is the son of the companys Chairman, Georgios Feidakis. “We thank Mr. Karageorgiou for his long service to the company and we wish him every success in his future endeavors. The Board and I have worked closely with George since company’s inception in 2006 and we are grateful for his contribution over the past 9 years,” the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Globus Maritime, Georgios Feidakis, commented. Globus’ subsidiaries own and operate six vessels with a total carrying capacity of 379,958 Dwt and a weighted average age of 7.2 years as of September 30, 2015.
