Höegh Autoliners in Talks with Wallem Shipmanagement

Höegh Autoliners is in talks with Wallem Ship Management to expand their cooperation by establishing a joint venture company in Singapore that will handle technical management of all Höegh Autoliners’ owned vessels. Wallem Ship Management already manages nine Höegh vessels. The majority of the owned vessels operated by Höegh Autoliners are today technically managed by Höegh Fleet Services AS. Crewing services are handled from separate Höegh crewing offices in China and the Philippines. The crewing services from these Höegh offices will continue unchanged,  Höegh Autoliners said in an announcement today.  “A total of 23 staff, of which 18 are based in Norway, will be affected as a result of the move. We will start a dialogue with each individual employee to discuss potential new job opportunities in Höegh”, commented Sebjørn Dahl, CEO of Höegh Fleet Services AS.
