Hyundai Heavy to Build Two Tankers for Enterprises Shipping

HHI Greece-based shipping company Enterprises Shipping and Trading has placed an order for two 158,000 dwt tankers with South Koreas shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries, data published by VesselsValue shows. Although the price of the vessels was not disclosed, VesselsValue said that the market value of each of the ships stands at USD 58 million. The new ECO Suezmaxes are scheduled to join their owner in 2018. Enterprises Shipping and Trading operates a fleet of 41 vessels, 24 of which are bulk carriers with a total of over 2.6 million dwt, while the remaining 17 are tankers. The companys entire tanker fleet features over 1.2 million dwt. World Maritime News Staff
