Inchcape Shipping Services Looking For New CEO
zoomCaptain Claus Hyldager Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) will start the search for a new Chief Executive Officer after the companys CEO of nine years Captain Claus Hyldager announced his decision to step down. Captain Claus Hyldager has been CEO of Inchcape Shipping Services since January 2006. He was formerly COO of the company and has held a number of other senior management positions since joining ISS in 1995. Hyldager is now serving a period of garden leave and will assist with an orderly handover. The companys current Chief Financial Officer, Chris Whiteside, has been appointed as acting CEO. A special committee of the ISS Board will oversee the search for a permanent CEO with the assistance of an unnamed executive search firm. Today ISS acts as the agent for over 65,000 port calls in 1,533 ports across 112 countries.
