KNOT to Extend Time Charter with Statoil for Oil Tanker

KNOT Offshore Partners LP UK-based KNOT Offshore Partners LP has announced a declaration of option to extend a time charter contract with Norwegian company Statoil ASA for its crude oil/shuttle tanker Bodil Knutsen. According to existing contract, the contract period is extended from May 2017 to May 2019. The partnership has granted Statoil ASA new five one-year options, in connection with the early declaration by the company of these optional years for the vessel. The partnership owns, operates and acquires shuttle tankers under long-term charters in the offshore oil production regions of the North Sea and Brazil.
