Last Roundtrip Voyage for CSAV Gulf Bridge Express zoom The Gulf Bridge Express Service by Chilean shipping company, Compañía Sudamericana de Vapores (CSAV)  will shortly be terminated with the last roundtrip voyage. The last voyage is going to be sailed by MV Saint Nikolaos bound for New Orleans on April 22, 2015, Hapag-Loyd said. As informed, GCS and the GS1 will cover alternative services from and to the Gulf ports of US and Mexico. These services offer a comprehensive network in South America both directly and also via transhipment with other Hapag-Lloyd mainline- and feeder-vessels at the ports of Manzanillo (Panama), Cartagena (Colombia) and Caucedo (Dominican Republic). Service between the ports of Veracruz and Altamira with the ports of Houston and New Orleans will be covered through the collective services of the GCS, GS1, MGX and the AX2, the company said. CSAV and the German company Hapag Lloyd are about to merge their operations. Image: Hapag-Loyd
