Liberty Blue Chooses KR for Classification Services KR Classification society Korean Register (KR) has signed an agreement with Liberty Blue to provide classification services to this Germany-based platform of ship management companies.  As explained, the KR will provide services including the ISM code, the ISPS code, the MLC Convention, EU-MRV and KR-CON. We believe that KR can become our eyes and ears for the Asian markets. KR has proved their experience in several areas and we are looking forward to a long-term cooperation, Dietrich Schulz, General Manager Liberty Blue, commented. Liberty Blue is an alliance created in 2016 to combine medium-sized shipping companies and fleets. The alliances fleet comprises 65 vessels multipurpose, offshore and container vessels as well as tankers. KR was accredited as a verifier for the provision of EU-MRV services by Germanys national verification body DAkkS earlier this year. KR currently classes an international fleet of 3,061 vessels totaling 69 million gross tons.
