MPC Container Ships Adds One More Vessel

MPC Container Ships MPC Container Ships, Norway-based owner and operator of container vessels formed in April 2017, has acquired AS Angelina, a 2,217 TEU ship. Built in Germany in 2007, the vessel was bought from an undisclosed German company. As informed, Ahrenkiel Steamship will be the technical ship manager, while the commercial management of the vessel will be handled by Contchart. MPC Container Ships continues with its shopping spree as it purchased a number of vessels in the past few months. Last month, the company also bought Stadt Dresden, a 2,742 TEU boxship. Following the purchase of AS Angelina, MPC Container Ships has a fleet of 14 vessels.
