MSC Launches USA West Coast Express

zoom The worlds second largest container line Mediterranean Shipping Company is launching a new Europe US West Coast service as a response to the end of a labour dispute that caused delays and severe congestion throughout US Pacific ports. The first ship to sail in the new service dubbed USA West Coast Express will depart from the UKs Port of Felixstowe on May 16, also calling at Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre, Sines, Long Beach, Oakland, Manzanillo, Cristobal and Sines prior to returning back to Felixstowe. MSC says that the introduction of USA West Coast Express puts the company in a position to offer all major US ports on a direct basis.
